Christmas break starts next week on Thursday! Wednesday, the 20th, is an early release- students are dismissed at 1pm. No school from December 21 to January 3rd. School will resume January 4th.

WVMS Trimester One "Above and Beyond" certificates were awarded to 19 students at the recent assembly. These students exhibit kindness, respect, perseverance, and courage. 🗝️

picture day or would like a different picture, this is the day! Just a reminder- retakes require the original pictures to be brought back to have a retake taken.
Volunteer training Opportunity! Current subs...New subs... Potential subs... You are all invited to join us for some treats and training. Please come to West Valley on Thursday, December 14 at 2-3pm to enjoy some treats and learn some helpful sub strategies, such as classroom management techniques and classroom technology. The elementary students have been learning all about respect and what that means both in school and as members of their community. Friday we had two deputies from the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Cook and Deputy Kammerzell, speak with our K-4 students to share the importance of having and showing respect. Our students also voted for some of their classmates who exemplify "respectful citizenship" every day at school.

The District is in a difficult position due to a limited substitute teacher pool. It has become extremely challenging to provide a full range of needed services for students due to open substitute positions not being filled. We are reaching out to ask for help and support with your time in any way you can. Your contribution can make a significant difference and greatly benefit our school community. One way would be to contact the office about becoming a substitute teacher, or help recruit potential substitutes from within our broader Flathead Valley community.
